Step 3 – Activate variant display on a collection

Installing the app is not enough.
You must enable variant display per collection.

Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
Select a collection
Toggle Variant Display → ON

Your variants will now appear as separate products on that collection.

Not working?

If variants still don’t appear:

Make sure the App Embed is ON
Make sure Variant Display is ON for the collection
Check that all products use the same option name (e.g. “Color”, not “Colour”)

Step 1 – Understand how collections work in Variantify

Variantify applies variant display at the collection level, using your existing Shopify collections.

Collections can be:

Created in Shopify
Or created from inside Variantify

In both cases, they are standard Shopify collections and stay fully synced between Shopify and Variantify.

Each collection can have its own configuration.

Step 2 – Enable variant display (required)

From the collections grid in Variantify:

Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
Find the collection
Toggle **Variant Disp

Why my variants don’t appear on collection pages

If your variants don’t appear as separate products on your collection pages, don’t worry. In most cases, it’s caused by a missing setting.

Follow this checklist step by step 👇

Step 1 – Make sure the App Embed is enabled

Variantify cannot work if the app embed is disabled.

Go to Online Store → Themes
Click Customize on your published theme
Open Theme settings
Go to App embeds
Make sure Variantify is ON
Click Save

👉 This is the most common issue.

Step 2 – Enable variant display on the collection

Installing Variantify is not enough. You must activate variant display per collection.

Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
Go to Collections and find the collection in the list
Toggle Variant Display → ON

If this toggle is OFF, variants will not appear.

Step 3 – Check the split option (very important)

You must select a split option for the collection

In the collection settings:

Choose an option to split variants
Example: Color

Option names must match exactly (same spelling, same language). If option names are different or missing variants cannot be split correctly.

Open Variantify
Go to Collections and Click Create collection
Choose Manual collection

This allows you to control exactly which variants are displayed.

Go to Online Store → Themes → Edit theme
Click Add section
Select Featured collection
Assign the collection you want to showcase to the featured collection settings

You can add multiple Featured Collection sections if needed.

Step 2 – Configure homepage display settings in Variantify

Now open Variantify and configure homepage settings.

Go to Variantify → Homepage & Search Display
Find the section Homepage display settings
Enable Variant display
Set a product display limit
→ This defines how many variant products are shown per Featured Collection
Choose one or multiple options to split variants by (for example: Color, Size)
Select the collections you want to apply variant display to
Choose a **variant title
