Step 1 – Install Variantify

Install Variantify from the Shopify App Store:

Once installed, the app will appear in your Shopify admin.

Step 2 – Enable the App Embed (Required)

Variantify requires the app embed to be enabled to display variants.

Go to Online Store → Themes
Click Customize on your published theme
Open Theme settings
Go to App embeds
Enable Variantify
Click Save ${youtube}Enable Variantify in App embeds

Step 3 – Activate variant display on a collection

Installing the app is not enough.
You must enable variant display per collection.

Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
Select a collection
Toggle Variant Display → ON

Your variants will now appear as separate products on that collection.

Not working?

If variants still don’t appear:

Make sure the App Embed is ON
Make sure Variant Display is ON for the collection
Check that all products use the same option name (e.g. “Color”, not “Colour”)

How to set it up

Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
Go to Collections and open the collection you want to manage
Scroll down to Display settings
Find the Reorder variants section — each variant is listed individually with a Show toggle
Toggle OFF any variant you want to hide from the collection page and click Saves changes

Important notes

Hidden variants are only hidden from the collection page. They remain fully available on the product page
Variantify does not modify your Shopify product data

What does this feature allow?

How to set it up

Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
Go to Collections and open the collection you want to manage
Scroll down to Display settings
Make sure Reorder variants is toggled ON
Drag and drop variants using the handle (⠿) on the left to set your preferred order
Click Save order to confirm

Important notes

Order is saved per collection — you can have a different order in each collection
To go back to the default Shopify order, click Restore default order
This only affects the collection page display — it does not change the order of variants on the product page or in Shopify

In both cases, they are standard Shopify collections and stay fully synced between Shopify and Variantify.

Each collection can have its own configuration.

Open Variantify
Go to Collections and Click Create collection
Choose Manual collection
