How to reorder variants on collection pages

By default, Variantify displays variants in the order they are defined in Shopify. This article explains how to change that order directly from Variantify, per collection.

What does this feature allow?

You can drag and drop variants to control the exact order in which they appear on your collection page — without touching your Shopify product settings.

This is useful when you want to highlight specific variants first (e.g. your bestselling color or most popular size).

How to set it up

1. Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
2. Go to Collections and open the collection you want to manage
3. Scroll down to Display settings
4. Make sure Reorder variants is toggled ON
5. Drag and drop variants using the handle (⠿) on the left to set your preferred order
6. Click Save order to confirm

Important notes

• Order is saved per collection — you can have a different order in each collection
• To go back to the default Shopify order, click Restore default order
• This only affects the collection page display — it does not change the order of variants on the product page or in Shopify
