How to install and activate Variantify

Step 1 – Install Variantify

Install Variantify from the Shopify App Store:

👉 https://apps.shopify.com/variantify

Once installed, the app will appear in your Shopify admin.

Step 2 – Enable the App Embed (Required)

Variantify requires the app embed to be enabled to display variants.

1. Go to Online Store → Themes
2. Click Customize on your published theme
3. Open Theme settings
4. Go to App embeds
5. Enable Variantify
6. Click Save

Step 3 – Activate variant display on a collection

Installing the app is not enough.

You must enable variant display per collection.

1. Open Variantify in your Shopify admin
2. Select a collection
3. Toggle Variant Display → ON

Your variants will now appear as separate products on that collection.

Not working?

If variants still don’t appear:

• Make sure the App Embed is ON
• Make sure Variant Display is ON for the collection
• Check that all products use the same option name (e.g. “Color”, not “Colour”)
